This recorder was absolutely perfect for my fifth grader's needs. The recorder came with a carrying case and a tool for cleaning the recorder. I loved that we could pick a color we like best. It arrived quickly and the free shipping can't be beat. The price is amazing to me because it is so cheap and I really feel this is worth more. Definitely got a bargain here and we couldn't be more pleased!

When I saw the price of these recorders, I could not believe that this would be anything other than a cheap toy. In fact, you can buy cheap toy instruments for a lot more money than you pay for this. But this is a real instrument. In fact, it's exactly the same as the ones my son's music teacher uses for her recorder consort, so when she told me to buy him this one, she meant THIS one. It's durable. It's playable. And it's perfect for teaching a beginning student pitch and fingering. It also comes with a case and cleaner. Great deal.
