The fingers and toes are of a black leather material and the nose is a hard "button". The eyes are hard plastic and when you look at the puppet from the front or side, it is proportioned like a real panda - shape and proportions. It isn't like many smaller plush animals which tend to follow an indistinguishable, generic "animal pattern". This really looks like a very tiny panda. The materials used and the stitching are sturdy and soft and it sits upright on its own. It is so cute. It's another very well made puppet by Folkmanis. They know what they're doing when they make animals designed to look like real wildlife!
