My now 11 month old son LOVES this puppet. It has become his "lovey" and I just purchased a second owl puppet in order to discreetly clean the original owl from time to time. He loves biting the owl's beak (probably teething). The eyes seem very secure.
The puppet is well-made and very soft. The fur does not fuzz off or shed. It is the perfect size for my kiddo. We don't use it for its intended purpose for now, but this owl is well loved. I like that this toy will be able to grow with my child, assuming it won't be a rag when we're past the teething phase. The owl's face fur is matted after all the baby kisses it receives, but it wasn't intended to withstand that type of love.

The Burrowing Owl puppet is rather small, but definitely very cute. It has a somewhat surprised look on its face, and the eyes are very beautiful. Even though Folkmanis says 'moveable head' this really only means you can tilt the head a little, it doesn't turn like Snowy's head does. The fur is very realistic, with perfect white spots dotting the wings and back. While it doubles as a perfectly normal stuffed animal, and is quite soft
