I've been brewing high end Tie Guan Yin / Guan Yin Wang Chinese tea at work in a simple coffee mug for the past few weeks. I drop in a spoonful of tea, dump hot water from the water cooler/heater in the break room, cover with the lid, and wait about 3 minutes. Off comes the lid and I have great tea! The infuser itself cleans up nicely/quickly. Good build quality, seems like it will last forever.

This item is well-designed and works as advertised. Only the tiniest of particles get through (like tiny dust specks). The holes are so small that residual water inside won't pass without something forcing them through (so it leaves a few drops of water inside when removed). It fits a broad range of mugs, and the lid is sealed so that when you use it to hold the infuser between uses, it won't leak. (The silicone gasket is firmly attached to the lid, so liquid won't seep between it and the steel.) Only stainless steel comes in contact with the liquid, so there is no impact on the taste.

I love how fine the mesh is on this filter- really it's not "mesh," it's tiny holes all throughout the steel cup. No chunks of loose-leaf tea are floating around in my drink. And the lid keeps the tea hot and ensures that none of the essential oils from the herbal tea are lost to evaporation during steeping. This is the perfect infuser!

I've been using this for awhile now, and really like it. I did a lot of research on extra-fine infusers and this seems like the best. Unfortunately it doesn't fit in my favorite mug exactly, but I make it work. The circular disc is also great to help it seem or to rest the infuser on. I highly recommend.

Awesome infuser! Very easy to clean, and holes are small enough for the tiniest tea particles to stay inside of infuser. Also made completely from stainless steel which is much safer than plastic. Rubberized lid is pretty handy too, you can place infuser on top of it after making tea, so there will be no mess. If you need good tea infuser now, this one is the best!

Oh my goodness, the first cup of tea i made with this infuser left me laughing with delight! i drink a lot of green tea which is a fine tea and this is the first infuser I've used that actually does what it is supposed to do. My previous infuser from Argo Teas (recommended by them as the one they use in the store) used to leave me drinking tea leaves along with my tea. This one...no tea leaves, only tea. it works great. excellent design, easy to manage, the little handle stays cool so you don't burn yourself removing the infuser. The lid keeps the tea hot while brewing and doubles as a stand for the infuser when you remove it. there is not a single thing i would change on this. Get it, you won't regret it.
