I have been using this humidifier for several nights. It is so quiet that you barely know it is on. The mist is very fine and gentle. I have had no problem with leaking or condensation. I have always used distilled water in my humidifiers because we have very hard water in our area. So, I really have no need for an expensive filter. It is super easy to fill and use.
